IBM

I began work on the Help@IBM Content team as a UX writer and quickly transitioned to the team’s editor. All global IBM employees use Help@IBM as a source for information and self-guided instructions for software and hardware used at the company. As a UX writer, I created simple and effective articles through personal research and conversations with product owners (PO) and subject matter experts. As the team’s editor, I created and maintained the style guide, encouraged dialog between writers and POs, coached others on maintaining company voice and style, and corrected grammar, punctuation, and other mistakes for a fast turnaround.

Click the articles here for examples of UX writing and editing I performed while on the Help@IBM team. These pieces represent work I performed as a writer and then as editor when others took over the writing responsibility. I’ve removed all URLs from the documents.
